Lady Norse Wrestlers 5th At East Noble
The Northfield Ladies Wrestling Team traveled to East Noble High School on Saturday to compete in the East Noble Girl’s Wrestling Invitational.
The invitational hosted 23 teams totaling over 130 lady wrestlings. Northfield finished 5th overall, scoring 101 team points.
Sophomore Ella Gahl finished 1st in the 129lbs – 137lbs weight class. Senior Asia Miller placed 2nd in the 125lbs – 136lbs weight class. Junior Alexis Gates and Freshmen Ella France placed third in their respective weight classes. Freshmen Kaelynne Emiley finished 4th. Freshmen Aaliysha Mackey and Hana Otey finished 5th, with Hana scoring her first victory of the year. The lady grapplers travel next to Rochester on November 19th to compete in the Rochester Girls Wrestling Invitational.
