Manchester Girls Edged By Indians

The Manchester Lady Squires fell to Mississinewa 52-47 Friday.

The ladies battled tough tonight in a back and forth match up with Mississinewa. The game was never more than 7 points either direction with both teams leading at various points in the night. After the 3rd quarter, the Squires held the lead but a big 4th quarter for Mississinewa gave them a 5 point edge at the end of the game

Gracie Lauer led Manchester tonight with 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals. Brookelynn Buzzard added 14 points, while Hadley West had 7 points, 5 rebounds, and an assist. Olivia Neal had a strong night with 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 block. Aliala Atienza added 3 points and 7 rebounds, and Molly Schannep had 2 points along with 4 rebounds. Maddy Miller came in and contributed 3 assists and 1 steal.

The ladies will be back in action Saturday night at Winamac.
