Lady Apaches Roll Past Madison Grant

The Wabash Lady Apache varsity used an aggressive defense to force 27 turnovers as they cruised to a 59-24 win over Madison-Grant Friday.

Wabash , now 4-2, jumped out to a 14-4 lead after a quarter and added on each stop .

Kait Honeycutt & Kierra Wilson led the Lady Apache offense with 17 and 16 points. Rylee Yoakum and Libby Mattern dished out 5 and 4 assists. Hannah Layne and Yoakum pulled down 8 rebounds each while Honeycutt had 6 steals.

Wabash will be back in action on Tuesday when the go on the road to face Northwestern.

The JV Lady Apaches moved to 4-1 on the season with a 51-15 win over Madison-Grant. Wabash jumped out to a 20-0 lead and never looked back.
