The Golden Eagles beat the Squires 68-43 behind a strong 2nd half! In the first half it was a battle as the Eagles got off to a slow start. Matthew Strange scored 10 of his 12 and Ty Fagan scored 8 of his 12, in the half helping to keep the Eagles close. Going in to the 2nd half down 1, the Golden Eagles turned up the pressure behind Grant Elzinga spurring on the team with his aggressive play winning the quarter 23-6 to take a 16 point lead in to the 4th quarter where we extended the lead to finish off the Squires 68-43. A big difference in the 2nd half, was Landon Biegel exploding for 22 of his game high 23 after just netting 1 in the first. Rounding out the scoring for the Eagles: Kroll with 8, Elzinga with 6, C Middlesworth with 3, and Jackson Lamb and Levi Trexler with 2. The Golden Eagles will travel to Norwell next Saturday afternoon for a triple header.

Girls Varsity Basketball falls to Manchester 48-36. Alexa Myers led the team in scoring with 13 points. Jenessa Shields added 7. The Lady Eagles will face Elwood on the road next Friday.
