Norse Wrestling Falls To Cass
The Northfield wrestling team fell to Lewis Cass 45-30 Tuesday.
The Norsemen battled the Lewis-Cass Kings in Varsity Wrestling action. Seniors Malichi Higgins (220lbs) and Karson Pratt (145lbs) earn victories. Juniors Layne Denton (152lbs), Dylan Osborn (160lbs), and Baden Turner (285lbs) also won their individual matches. Freshmen Isaac Stakemen (106lbs) pinned ‘his opponent. Due to illness, Northfield forfeited 2 weight classes, being down 12 points going into the match.
The Norsemen wrestle next on Saturday, December 3rd, as they host the Wabash County Super 8 Invitational, and the Wabash County Champion will be crowned. They will have four mats going simultaneously. Wrestling starts at 9:00am.
