The Braves went to North Miami for the TRC opener. It was a great night for the Braves to open the conference with a win.

Coach Burrus Quote: ” I was excited to see our kids come out and play a really good game at North Miami. We had lots of assists and steals. We also put together four good quarters. I felt our best quarter was th 30-11 second quarter. We had 9 players score but every player brought great defense the whole night. We have Wabash for the home opener and another big TRC challenge. The kids would appreciate your support on Friday at home.”

The Lady Braves came away today with a 51-35 win over Eastern to keep the “Cookie Cup”. With the score tied at halftime 25-25, the Lady Braves came out and out scored the Lady Comets 16-2 in the frame.

The Lady Braves were led by Miranda Stoll with 23 points, and Bailey Carson had 8 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assist.

The “Cookie Cup” was started back in 2017 between the two schools to show good sportsmanship. The teams would share Christmas cookies and other types of cookies together after each game. Going into today’s contest, Eastern held a 3-2 lead in the series. But with today’s win, the series is all tied up at 3-3.

The Lady Braves are back home again on Tuesday, December 6 against Oak Hill, with a 6:00 JV tip-off.
