Results from Oak Hill for Saturday, December 3rd

After a close battle the first half, the Norwell Knights hot shooting was too much to overcome for the Eagles in the 2nd half. A three point game at halftime ended up in a 50-76 loss for the Eagles, the first loss of the season. Norwell hit 13 three pointers shooting over 50%. For the Eagles, we had four players do all the scoring: Caleb Kroll had 18, Matthew Strange and Landon Biegel with 12 each, and Grant Elzinga with 8. The Golden Eagles have a week to prepare and shake this off as they travel to Gas City next Friday night to open up CIC Conference play vs the Mississinewa Indians, followed by hosting Macanaquah Saturday night

.After getting behind 41-12 in the first half, the Lady Eagles fought back in the second half, but ultimately fell short, losing to Western 55-45. The team combined for 15 steals and 11 assists. Olivia Sherron scored 12 points and had 3 steals. Alivia Shaw added 9 points, 3 assists, and 6 steals.
