Southwood 6th Tops Whitko

The Southwood 6th Grade Boys’ Basketball team was back in action Tuesday.

The Knights move to (2-0) on the year with a 43-31 win over Whitko. Cade Pershing led the Knights in scoring with 13 points. Bray Bassett and Dylan Hurst each added 12 points. Lucas Drown added 9 rebounds and 2 points. And, Karston Hayslett put up 4 points in the contest.

The Southwood B-team picked up a win in a abbreviated contest. Their defense led them to a 10-0 win. Blake Ashba, Owen Davis, Myles McConahay, Dylan Powell, and Lucas Rose all scored a basket in the contest.
