Knights Fall In Overtime To Peru

The Southwood boys basketball team took Peru to overtime before falling to the Tigers 69-64.

A great first quarter and a less than stellar second quarter, found the Knights down 10 at the half. The Knights were able to come storming back in the third to tie it before the quarter ended. A determined Knights squad found a way to overcome players with illness, a concussion and a starter fouling out to take the Tigers to overtime. A 7-2 scoring mark by the Tigers sealed the hard fought conference game for Peru.
