Knights Fall At Eastern
The Southwood boys basketball team fell at Eastern 39-34 Saturday.
Leading 34-29 early in fouth quarter, the Knights finished the game with 8 empty possessions and the Eastern Comets finishing on a 10-0 run to complete the comeback win in Greentown.
After a quick paced Friday night vs. Peru, Saturday night at Eastern moved at a snails pace. The Knights held leads of 9 points in the third quarter and 5 points with 4:30 remaining, but couldn’t find their offense to stop the streaking Comets.
The 0-4 Knights visit Manchester next Friday the 16th, in a boys/girls TRC doubleheader at 8pm.
