Lady Apaches Run Past Knights
The Wabash Lady Apaches jumped out to a 24-9 lead after a quarter and cruised to a 65-40 win over Southwood Tuesday.
Wabash used a big third quarter to get up 53-25 going into the final period.
The Lady Apaches were led by Kierra Wilson with 19 points , while Kait Honeycutt and Rylee Yoakum added 18 and 12. Jade Stumbo pulled down 9 rebounds and Libby Mattern dished out 9 assists to lead Wabash.
The Lady Apaches, now 8-5,2-2 , will be back in action next Wednesday at the County Tourney when they take on Northfield in the opening round.

Leading Southwood was Ella Haupert with 16 points. Sweet added 13, Chellis 4, Winer 2, Lambert 2.

The JV Lady Apaches had all ten players score as they played one of their best games of the year. Wabash, now 7-5 in the season, jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as they won 54-21.
