Knights Wrestle At Maconaquah
The Southwood wrestling team placed 9th at the Maconaquah Invite Saturday.
The Knights wrestled in a strong ten team tournament Saturday and came away with some improvement.
The highlight of the meet was freshman 220 Nolan Hiner placing 2nd. Nolan had a great day, but fell to his senior opponent in the finals. 106 Bryant Pattee and 126 Hayden Jones continued to wrestle well both placing 4th.
Others Placing were: 285 Owen Dunnavant 5th; 145 Devin Danzy 6th; 138 Logan Hiner 7th; 113 Mason Shenefield 8th; 120 Wyatt Smith 8th; and 160 Keaton Frieden 8th.
