Huntington North High School Head Football Coach Bob Prescott; has announced his
resignation as Head Football Coach at Huntington North High School pending school
board approval.


Coach Prescott had a tremendous impact on Viking student athletes during his four years
(2019 – 2022) lead ing the Viking program. Coach Prescott was vital in growing program
numbers, strength development, as well as opening a new facility during his time as the
Viking leader. Coach Prescott is a first – class leader and we thank him for his service to
our studen t athletes.

The Huntington North Viking swimmers defeated the visiting Apache’s, from Wabash, last night at the Parkview Huntington YMCA. The girls won by the score of 121 to 34, while the boys won 97 to 71. Both teams are preparing the remainder of the week for the NE8 Conference meet on Saturday at Norwell.

The Lady Vikes went on the road a defeated Fort Wayne Wayne 47-42. With the win the Lady Vikes improved to 14-2 (2-1) on the the season. This was the Lady Vikes 10 win in a row. Their next game is Saturday at conference foe Columbia City. Currently the Lady Vikes sit one game behind Columbia City for 1st place in the NE8 conference.
