Manchester JH Girls Sweep Rochester
The Manchester junior high girls took two games from Rochester Tuesday.
Manchester Junior/Senior Girls 7th Grade Basketball beat Rochester High School 18-7
The 7th grade Lady Squires continue to battle and improve this season beating the Rochester Zebras tonight on the road! Lacy Trump started the game with some hot shooting and Shiann Owens picked up the scoring role in the 2nd half. The team defense was good all night. Scoring for the Lady Squires was as follows:
Lacy Trump – 6 points
Shiann Owens – 6 points
Marysa Stroud – 4 points
Piper Spangle – 2 point

Manchester Junior/Senior Girls 8th Grade Basketball beat Rochester High School 35-27
The 8th grade Lady Squires traveled to Rochester for a RRC matchup against the Zebras. This was a very physical game, but the Squires perservered in the end. Ashley Angle, Emma Walker, and Allie Egolf played huge defensive games against a very tall Rochester team! Leading the way offensively was Emma Walker with 14 points followed by Ava Sautter with 10 points, Ava-Marie Simcoe with 5 points, Allie Egolf and Ashley Angle with 2 points each. The Squires are now 8-1 on the season.
