Oak Hill High School Boys Varsity Basketball beat Madison Grant High School 60-29

The Golden Eagles came out early and made a statement! Winning the first quarter 17-2 with their smothering defense and energy they never looked back winning every quarter! With CIC bragging rights on the line with both teams undefeated in conference play, the Eagles showed why they are the returning champs and did it emphatically winning 60-29! That win continues a 2 year undefeated record in all county and conference foes with a couple more conference games to go, and puts the Golden Eagles in the driver’s seat going forward. The Eagles smothering defense kept leading scorer Jace Howell to 4 points all in the 2nd half, and nobody on the Argylls got in to double digits. On the other hand the Eagles had 3 different players in double digits led by Landon Biegel with 25, Ty Fagan with 13, and Caleb Kroll with 12. Also scoring was Grant Elzinga with 5, Levi Trexler with 4, and Matthew Strange with 1. Strange also had a great night with assists, and Biegel had double digit rebounds to go along with his 25 points. The team played great from tip to finish after 3 straight days of no school! No rest as they have to travel tomorrow to play a tough Lapel team. The 7th ranked class 3A Golden Eagles have won 12 in a row and are now 14-1!
