Lady Apaches Win At Peru
The Wabash Lady Apaches never really got the offense going on Saturday afternoon when they traveled to Peru in the regular season finale but they found a way to gut out a 42-35 win.
Wabash trailed 21-20 at the half but outscored the hosts 11-7 in each of the final quarters to pull out the victory.
Rylee Yoakum paced the Lady Apache offense with 13 points. Jade Stumbo pulled down 9 rebounds while Yoakum and Libby Mattern had 8 each. Mattern also was tops with 3 assists and Yoakum led in steals with 3.
Wabash finishes the regular season 15-7, 6-3 and will start Sectional play on Tuesday at Cass against Pioneer.
