Lady Squires Fall At Valley

The Manchester girls basketball team fell at Tippecanoe Valley 73-38 Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Squires started the game strong taking an early lead most of the 1st quarter. After the half, the Lady Viking defense got the best of the Squires as they forced over 30 turnovers.

Gracie Lauer led with 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. Peyton Ream had 7 points and 2 rebounds. Brookelynn Buzzard had a 6 assists with 4 points. Kim Schroll had 6 points and 2 rebounds. Hadley West had 5 points and 1 assist. Aliala Atienza had 2 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals. Molly Schannep and Olivia Neal each added 1 point and a handful of rebounds.

The ladies will play in the first round of Sectionals next Tuesday at Bluffton High School.
