Knights Win At Rochester
The Southwood boys basketball team went on the road to Rochester Thursday, defeating the Zebras 60-55.
At one point in the third qtr, the Knights held a 44-30 lead due to their defensive pressure and Nathan Lehner scoring 10 points in the quarter.
With Rochester Zebras pressure in the fourth qtr, Rochester was able to cut the 14 pt lead to five with under two minutes to play. The Knights were able to hold on for their first win at Rochester since 2017.
The Knights stand at 6-9 (4-3 TRC). Next up, Northwestern Saturday afternoon @ 1:30pm.

Southwood High School Boys Junior Varsity Basketball beat Rochester High School 48-41
The JV Knights withstood a fierce 4th quarter fight from the Zebras to notch their 8th win of the season. It was a rare road win at Rochester. The JV boys all played extremely well.
