Oak Hill High School Boys Varsity Basketball beat Blackford High School 70-35
The Varsity boys basketball team pushed their overall record to 15-2 with a big victory at Blackford tonight. It didn’t start out so easy as the Eagles took just a six point lead in to the half. Then came the 2nd half. Landon Biegel caught fire and scored 30 of his 41 points in the 2nd half as he out scored the entire Bruins team which only scored a team total of 35. With the 70-35 running clock victory, the Golden Eagles remain undefeated in conference play with 1 game to go, and clinch a share of the CIC Championship, and will try to remain undefeated in conference for the 2nd straight year! Also scoring in the game: Fagan with 11, Kroll with 6, Strange and Sweet with 5, each, and Shugart with 2. The Eagles travel to Tipton Tuesday night.
