Knights Grind Out Win At Eastbrook

The Southwood Knights defeated Eastbook 74-44 Tuesday.

he Knights got off to a hot start at Eastbrook Tuesday night leading after the first quarter 20-7. Then outscoring the Panthers 25-15 in the second for a 45-22 half time lead.

The Knights senior captains took turns leading the scoring through the first three quarters. Cole Winer lead the first with eight points, Jason Oprisek lead the second with 10 points. Then followed with Nathan Lehner leading the third with 12 points.

The Knights were able to force 20 turnovers, resulting in 25 points, while only committing eight turnovers themselves.

The second consecutive win puts the Knights at 9-12 going into the final regular season game Friday when they host the Bluffton Tigers on Senior Knight.
