Squires Cruise Past Bluffton In Sectional Opener

The Manchester Squires improved to 18-5 with a win in the first round of sectionals Wednesday night against Bluffton 92-54.

Gavin Betten led the Squires with 28 points and 14 rebounds. Tyler McLain and Gavin Martin each scored 15 points. Ethan Hendrix, Trevor Heath, Wyatt Prater, and Reiss Gaerte all added 6 points. Other scorers for the Squires were Tallon Torpy 5, Kaleb Kline 3, and Carter Wagoner 2.

The Squires will play Fort Wayne Blackhawk Friday night at 7:30 pm at South Adams.
