Apaches/Squires Run At IU
The Wabash and Manchester track teams ran in the Hoosier State Relays at IU Saturday.
The Wabash High School boys track team competed well in the Hoosier State Relays Finals on the campus of Indiana University. To be able to compete in this meet athletes and relays had to post a time / distance that would place them in the top 24 for their respective event during the previous 3 weeks of competition. The Apaches qualified the 4×800 relay, the Distance Medley Relay and Coleson Kugler in the 60 meter dash.
The 4×800 relay of Chase Howard, Brett Shull, Isaiah Cordes, and Jonas Church placed 18th out of 24
The Distance Medley Relay of Kaden Vogel, Coleson Kugler, Chase Howard, and Jonas Church finished 14th
Coleson Kugler finished 18th in the 60 dash

The Lady Apaches had one individual and one relay team qualify for last Saturday’s Hoosier State Relays .
Natalie Adams finished 19th of the 24 competitors with her best jump of 4’9″
The 4X400 meter relay finished 18th out of 24 team with a time of 4:28.5 which was 5 seconds faster than their previous time

The Squires had a great showing at the HSR Indoor State Track Meet at IU! Kadence Fox was 7th in the 3200 M Run with a PR time of 11:29 and Kolby Haecker was 3rd in HJ with a height of 6’4”. The Girls DMR (Cashdollar, Ream, Egolf, K. Fox) broke their own school record in a time of 13:12.66) to finish 10th. The girls 4×800 (E. Fox, H. Eberly, Reichenbach, Clifford) also ran well to better their time.
