Lady Apaches Tennis Third At Jimtown
The Lady Tennis Apaches took 3rd place at the Jimtown Tennis Invitational this past Saturday.
The host team won overall, but the Apaches fought hard each round. 2 Singles, Talia Carrillo went undefeated for the tournament and was named 2 singles tounament champion.
In the 1st round against Wawasee the Apaches lost 2-3. 1 Singles, Hasumi Okubo won 6-0, 6-3 and 2 Singles Talia Carrillo won 7-5,6-4.
In the second round against Jimtown the Apaches lost 1-4. 2 Singles, Talia Carrillo won her match 6-4,1-6,10-7.
In the 3rd round against South Bend Adams the Apaches posted a 3-2 win. 1 Singles, Hasumi Okubo won her match 6-4,6-4. 2 Singles, Talia Carrillo won 6-2,6-2 and 3 Singles, Alexa Johnson won 2-6,7-6(9-7),10-8.
