The Wabash Middle School soccer team fell to Manchester 8-0 Thursday.

Wabash faced off against the Manchester Squires in a windy contest on Alumni Field. The Apaches generated multiple offensive attacks from the midfield via Landon Schuler, Lucas Coffman, and John Harris, with some assistance from forwards Leven Indrutz, Ember Christle, and Hope Fritter. Unfortunately for Wabash, these did not net any goals against a strong Squire defense. Despite allowing 8 goals, Owen Honeycutt had 15 saves on the night in his goalkeeping debut. The Apaches will travel to Maconaquah on April 25 for their first away game of the season.

It was a balanced and collective effort by the entire team that got Manchester the win tonight 8-0 against Wabash. In the net tonight, Cora Brown blanked Wabash to earn the shutout. Goal scorers tonight were Landon Jackson with 2, Wyatt Schroll with 2, Ava Sautter with 2, Isaiah Acosta with 1, and Caleb Struble-Hedstrom with 1.
