Norse Fire 158 To Top Manchester/Cass

The Northfield Varsity Golf team continued their strong level of play firing a 158 on 9 holes over Lewis Cass 173 and Manchester 188.

Cash Cartwright led all individuals as medalist with a 37(+1). Cartwright managed to score all 4’s and one 5 on the card to hand in his very worthy 1 over par on the cold evening. Easton Shaw finished with a 38 on the night and played a very solid round with 7 pars and just two bogeys. Tyson Baer finished next with an even 40 on the night. Baer recovered strongly after back to back double bogeys and went on to par his next 5 holes in a row. Tristan Hoffman would clean up with a 43 to solidfy the 158 team score. Hoffman would also recover smoothly after his first hole with 3 pars in a row to get back in rhythm. Dylan Ross would play as the 5 not reaching into the top 4 scores but would finish on a good note. Tonights victory puts the Norsemen at 5-1 on the season.

Northfield JV also took on Lewis Cass and fell to the Kings 189-210. Gavin Brainard led the Norse with a 45, followed by Ryder Schram with a 49, Luke Haupert 54, Aden Eads 56, Hank Gray and Jordan Kinsey both finished with 58 and Reid Haupert with a 60.
