Whitko Softball team drops another game 10-0 in five to Huntington North. Cassidy Skinner gets the loss on the mound giving up 10 hits, walking 6, and striking out one. Katelyn Cripe hit a single, Hannah Long hit a single and Addie Garr hit a single.
The Lady Wildcats are back in action Wednesday at North Miami at 5:30pm.

Whitko Boys Track had a cold night but some of the boys were on fire. Five cats walked away with personal records.

Whitko 74, Manchester 73, Northfield 27, Lakeland Christian 9

Whitko took down two more from the conference, Manchester and Northfield last night. The ladies are now 7-0 in the TRC.

Emerson Harper and Gwen Howard went four for four yet again! Emerson winning: long jump, 100, 200 and 4×400. Gwen winning: shot put, discus, 400 and 4×400.

Big night for Freshman- Kira Sordelet, as she had a personal record in three of her events!

long jump: 15’6.75”, 300 hurdles: 53.70, 200 dash: 28.1.

The Wildcats have the TRC meet Friday May 5th at Wabash.

Big Second Inning Propels Whitko Wildcats to Victory Over Argos

Seven runs in the second inning led Whitko Wildcats past Argos 12-1 on Tuesday. Whitko Wildcats batters contributing to the big inning included Easton Grable, David Ousley, Isaiah Cripe, Jaxon Harper, and Breyden Kirkdorffer, who all drove in runs.

Harper pitched Whitko Wildcats to victory. The pitcher surrendered zero runs on one hit over two innings, striking out two and walking zero. Ethan Yates, Cody Adkins, and Logan Hoffman all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

Whitko Wildcats tallied 11 hits in the game. Kirkdorffer, Harper, and Ousley each racked up multiple hits for Whitko Wildcats. Kirkdorffer went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Whitko Wildcats in hits. Whitko Wildcats stole nine bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Kirkdorffer led the way with two. Whitko Wildcats was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Kirkdorffer had the most chances in the field with six.
