Norse Golf Edges Rochester

Northfield Varsity Golf took down Rochester in a tight match Thursday to secure their 6th win of the season to improve to 6-1.

Tyson Baer continues his high level of play with a 38 to take overall medalist for the 3rd time this year. No other Norsemen managed to break 40 on the day but grinded out just enough to collect the 174-177 victory.

Northfield JV would combine for a score of 206 but fell just short to Rochester’s very solid 202. Gavin Brainard would take medalist with 45 followed by Ryder Schram’s 46.

The Norse will travel to Sycamore on Tuesday for another conference battle between Whitko and Manchester.
