Nash Cunningham led the Cubs at the plate going 1-1 with 2 walks and 3 runs scored. Brody Schnurpel and Malachi Williams both had RBI singles. Andy Shepard added a double and Wyatt Selleck had an RBI. Andy Shepard started on the mound for the Cubs giving up 4 runs on 3 hits while striking out 8 in 3 and 1/3 innings. Brody Schnurpel came on in relief to pick up the save while striking out 5 in 1 and 2/3 innings. Grady Lehner led the Red Sox at the plate going 1 for 2 with an RBI single.
