Manchester JH Soccer Defeats Peru

The Manchester junior high soccer team defeated Peru 8-2 Tuesday.

The Squires got out to an early lead when Ava Sautter carried the ball, while fighting off a defender, the entire half to score and put Manchester up 1-0. From there multiple Squires added to the total. Landon Jackson with 1 goal, Wyatt Schroll with 1 goal, and an amazing game high 5 goals for Isaiah Acosta. Squires with the assist were Isaiah Acosta with 1, Wyatt Schroll 1, Holden Posten 1, Jaxton Buzzard 1, and Eli Mobley 1. The Manchester defense did very well to hold the Tigers down on the scoreboard as well thanks to a strong game from center back, Caleb Struble-Hedstrom, and goalkeepers, Cora Brown and Preston Sites.
