Recap: The Crossroads Bank Red Sox defeated the Wabash Hardware Giants 3-2 in 8 innings Thursday night. RJ Harris went 2 for 4 and knocked in the go ahead run in the top of the 8th inning for the Red Sox. Jake Getman had an RBI single and Jameson Wallen, Coby Leland, and Carson McKee added singles for the Red Sox. Jake Getman started on the mound for the Red Sox and gave up 2 runs while striking out 11 in 4 innings. RJ Harris came on in relief and struck out 5 in 4 innings to pick up the victory. Micah Siders led the Giants at the plate going 3 for 4 with an RBI double and a triple. Jake Sailors added a single. Micah Siders started for the Giants allowing 2 runs and striking out 13 in 4 and 2/3 innings. Luke Kaufman came on in relief and allowed 1 run and struck out 8 in 3 and 1/3 innings. With the win, the Red Sox are now 1-3 while the Giants are 2-2 on the season.
