Recap: The Crossroads Bank Red Sox defeated the Intrasect Technologies Blackhawks 9-6 in 6 innings Tuesday night. Jake Getman went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the Red Sox at the plate. Camden McKee had a 2 run single and Carson McKee added a single and 2 RBI. Cade Pershing, Jameson Wallen, and Maddox Wallen all added singles for the Red Sox. Coby Leland started on the mound for the Red Sox and picked up the win striking out 4 in 3 innings. Jake Getman came on in relief and struck out 8 in 2 2/3 innings. Mathis Holbert was 3 for 3 with an RBI double to lead the Blackhawks at the plate. Madelynn Stahl added a 2 run single and McKinley Baker, Chase Miller, Jayce Kirkpatrick and Easton Stahl all added hits for the Blackhawks. With the win the Red Sox are now 2-3 while the Blackhawks are 1-3 on the season.
