Manchester Girls Track Third At Bremen Sectional

The Manchester girls track team placed third in the Bremen sectional while setting records.

The Lady Squires placed 3rd at sectionals on Tuesday night setting 2 new school records and having 7 events qualifying for regionals with a top three finish. Starting the night off right, the 4×800 team of Ava Egolf, Ayla Cashdollar, Hannah Eberly, and Kadence Fox placed second with a school record time of 10:05.92. The second school record was set in the 200m dash with Federica Guiliani placing second with a time of 26.38. Fox was also sectional champion in the 3200 with a personal best of 11:25.75*

Also moving on with a top 3 finish:

100 m hurdles: 2nd Peyton Ream. 16.1*, 3rd Aliala Atienza 16.95

1600m: 3rd Ayla Cashdollar 5:32.76*

4×100: 2nd (Olivia Davis, Taryn Finch, Atienza, Ream) 52.1

Discus: 3rd Leyna Borgmann 97’8″*

100m dash: 5th Davis 13.16*

Shot Put: 7th Borgmann 29’11

300 m hurdles: 4th Egolf 51.47

4×400: 4th (Egolf, Eberly, Cashdollar, Ream). 4:25.87*

800m: 7th Ella Clifford 2:52.02

High Jump: 7th Davis 4’8, 8th Finch 4’6
