Tigers Defeat Lewis Cass to Open TRC Play
The Tigers traveled to Walton Tuesday night to begin the defense of their TRC title. Peru pulled off the sweep with a 5-0 victory.
1 Singles Ian Potts won 6-0, 6-1.
2 Singles Jayleb Walsh won 6-4, 6-3.
3 Singles Jacob Boswell won 6-0, 6-2.
1 Doubles Jackson Boswell and Lucas Musser won 6-2, 6-3.
2 Doubles J.P. Pallante and Karter Schwartz won in three sets, 6-7, 6-2, 6-1.
The Tigers also swept the JV matches with #1 Singles William Rodriguez winning 8-0, and #2 Singles Landon Steele won 8-2.
Rodriguez and Steele combined to JV doubles 8-1.
The Tigers travel to Logansport to take on the Berries on Wednesday.
