Wabash Boys Soccer Falls To Rochester
The Wabash Boys soccer team lost a TRC match to Rochester Tuesday night.
Wabash went down 1-0 early in the game but held the Zebras at bay until the last minute of the half before surrendering the second goal of the night. Wabash came out in the second half energized and produced multiple scoring opportunities but no goals. The Rochester defense responded with increased physical play which yielded several Wabash injuries. The Apaches ended the game playing a man down as a result. Derek Reed had another solid game on defense leading a back line that allowed only one shot in the second half. Ty Carpenter, Troy Guenin-Hodson, Caleb Daugherty, and Dylan Nguyen created good chances on goal. Isaac Byers finished the game with 5 saves.
Wabash travels to Caston Thursday night for a 7 pm game.
