Manchester Girls Soccer Falls Short Against Huntington

The Manchester Lady Squires soccer teams effort fell short Thursday as they lost to Huntington North 3-1.

Campbell Bolinger found the net with the first goal of the night off of a pass from Hanna Stout. Before halftime, the Lady Vikings found the net to tie the game up 1-1. During a two minute span in the second half, the ladies gave up 2 goals to give Huntington the 3-1 lead. Sam Shock, Ava Sautter, Hannah Eberly, and London Spangle had great opportunities to counter, but couldn’t find the back of the net. Addison Brubaker, Molly Schannep, Maggie Onderko-White, Karsyn Kamphues, and Chase Blevins led the strong defense. Grace Smith had 13 saves and a great night in the net.
