Northfield Volleyball Falls At Norwell
The Northfield volleyball team fell short in a competitive match against Norwell Wednesday. Scores were 25-20, 20-25, 21-25, 23-25.
Leading the Norse Elli Baker with 13 points, 2 aces, 13 kills, 28 receptions, 1 block. Emma Warnock 12 points, 11 digs, 17 assists. Josie Lynn 10 points, 4 aces, 15 kills, 2 blocks. Gabby Haupert 6 points, 18 kills, 18 digs, 11 receptions. Eden Hoover 24 digs, 30 receptions. Ava Copeland 7 digs. Camryn Kuhn 23 assists, 20 digs. Josie Weaver 8 digs, 9 receptions. The Norse are now 11-4 and host Wabash Thursday with Freshman game starting at 5PM.
The Junior Varsity Volleyball team fell to Norwell 17-25, 20-25. Leading in scoring was MiKayla Meyer with 3 points, 1 ace, Brinlei Swihart, Nichole Fisher and Claire Brainard with 2 points each. Saige Martin and MiKayla Meyer had 3 kills each.
The Freshman Volleyball team defeated Norwell 25-22, 25-21. Leading the scoring effort was Vivian Haupert with 8 points, 2 aces, Nichole Fisher with 6 points, 1 ace, Claire Brainard and Hayden Martin with 5 points each. Saige Martin was a beast in the front row with 7 kills each.
