6th VB secures first win of season

The 6th grade Lady Braves secured their first win of the season in straight sets against Logansport tonight. The girls played together well and showed a lot of teamwork. The Lady Braves were led by Ellie Hostetler with 8 service points. Alyssa Peterson added 7 service points and Whitney Barnes had 6. The girls played a 3rd set exhibition with Logansport B squad and also won 25-13. Whitney Barnes had an excellent serving game earning 9 service points. The girls will be back in action Thursday at MMS to finish out the week.

Middle School football over North Miami 34-24

The middle school football team beat North Miami Tuesday night 34-24. Aidyn Farnell scored four touchdowns for the Braves and Kacen Toepfer added another touchdown. Defensively, Chastin Wessel led the Braves. The Braves are now 2-1 on the season and play Lewis Cass next week.
