Manchester Boys Soccer Cruises Past Eastbrook

The Manchester boys soccer team came out strong Thursday night against Eastbrook, defeating the Panthers 5-1.

The Squires dominated the possession in the first 40 minutes that found them up 4-0 at half. Two of the first half goals were scored by freshman Isaiah Acosta and the other two by senior Tyler McLain.

The second half saw less possession for Manchester, but they were able to find the back of the net one more time with a goal by senior Nathaniel Miller. Senior midfielder, Diego Munoz, had a strong game in the middle, controlling the pace of play for the Squires. Manchesters back three did well to limit Eastbrook to very few chances and getting his first start in goal Thursday night for an injured Evan Mclaughlin, was Spencer Kerr with 8 saves.
