The Manchester girls soccer team fell to Eastbrook 4-3 Thursday.

The Lady Squires battled hard for 80 minutes but fell short 4-3. In the first half, the Lady Panthers scored off a PK from a hand ball call in the box. A few minutes later, Eastbrook was able to find the back of the net again to take the lead 2-0. Campbell Bolinger was the first to score for the Lady Squires off a beautiful shot from a free kick. Eastbrook found the net one more time before half to take the lead 3-1.

The Lady Squires possessed the ball well coming out of halftime. Ava Sautter found Hannah Eberly early on as they cut the lead to 1. Brookelynn Buzzard tied the game off a corner kick from Campbell Bolinger. With about 10 minutes to go in the game, an unfortunate call led to the last Eastbrook goal of the game. Addison Brubaker, Karsyn Kamphues, Chase Blevins, Molly Schannep, and Maggie Onderko-White played a strong, physical defensive game. Grace Smith had 7 saves and Kim Schroll had 1. The Lady Squires had other great opportunities to score including a few in the last two minutes of the game from Ava Sautter, Samantha Shock, and Jo Eberly.
