Norse XC Runs At Maconaquah
The Northfield cross country team ran in the Maconaquah Invite Saturday.
A very exciting meet happened Saturday as all the Varsity boys had seasons best times finishing the Maconaquah Invite.
Finishing first for the boys team was Ryland Miller in 19:01, almost meeting his goal for the day! Next in for the Norse was Kourtland Pratt in a time of 20:13, Ryan Brunett in 20:55, Eli Mattern in 21:02, Holten Satterthwaite in 21:49, Xavier Roark in 22:35 and Ethan Hoover in 23:02.
The Norse will be traveling to South Adams this Saturday in hopes of more PR’s for the season!

All our Lady Norse collected PR’s on the season this past Saturday at Maconaquah.
Finishing first for the Lady Norse was Madeline Moore in a time of 23:19. Trinity Bever was second through the finish line with a time of 23:31 followed by Mara Zolman in 25:34 and Olia Leffert in 28:25.
The Lady Norse travel to South Adams this Saturday in hopes of collecting more PR’s towards their season!

The Northfield Boys Middle School Cross Country team finished 3rd out of 14 teams Saturday at the Maconaquah Invitational. All 7 boys ran lifetime best performances. Led by Bode Sorg’s individual championship effort and a time of 10:26, the Norsemen each brought their times down significantly. Preston Moore, 11th, 11:12, Nate Hodson, 17th, 11:33, Hudson Haupert, 22nd, 11:45, Maesyn Jones, 59th, 13:03, Gavin Lester, 65th, 13:22 and Bentley Sutterby, 96th, 14:30. The Norse were only 2 points behind RRC opponent Maconaquah.

continued its undefeated season with a dominte performance at the Maconaquah Invitational. Bringing home another championship trophy, the Norse are now 4-0 on the season. All 7 runners ran lifetime best performances. Led by Kaleigh Rice who finished 2nd on the day with a run that was 1 second off the Middle School record of 11:20. Kaleigh ran 11:21. Teagan Baer, 9th, 12:09, Ali Copeland, 11th, 12:13, Addie Hawkens, 22nd, 12:48, Andrea Widemon, 24th, 13:05, Haylee Bucher, 16:00 and Sheila Smith, 16:11.
