Results from Peru for Monday, September 11th

The Tigers were on the road Monday night at Chippendale against Eastern, Maconaquah, and Taylor. Peru (202) shot their lowest 9 hole round of the season so far and finished 3rd in the match behind Maconaquah (184) and Eastern (200). Taylor did not have a team score. Piercey Dyer led the team with a round of 39. Lainey Wouster shot a personal best 53, Bailee Beattie shot a personal best 55, Raina Nero shot 55, Maddie Caldwell shot 61, and Annie Dolly shot 67.

It is a quick turnaround for the team as Peru is on the road again Tuesday night at Round Barn against Rochester and Northfield. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:30.

Girls Varsity Soccer falls to North Miami 6 – 0

Good start to the game with a 0 – 2 halftime. Unfortunate loss to the rival North Miami team with a 0-6 total loss. The Peru Girls had their best aggressive game this season. Improvement is still coming to this young team.

Varsity Volleyball falls to Kokomo 3 – 1

Varsity Lady Tigers fought hard against Kokomo Monday night falling in 4 sets 24-26, 25-15, 21-25, 12-25. Senior Kenzie Burton racked up 14 service points and an ace, while Senior Brook Garner helped with 10 points and 2 aces. Senior Shelby Renn fought hard in the front row with 2 solo blocks and 3 assisted blocks. Sophomores Kyla Neupert and Addison Robbins each contributed 5 kills a piece. Peru will be in action Tuesday night at home facing Northfield with JV beginning at 6:00pm. We will also celebrate the youth volleyball programs after the JV game.
