Wabash boys soccer traveled to Eastbrook and were handed a 0-4 loss Tuesday.

The first half was all Eastbrook as the Panthers kept Wabash bottled up in their defensive third. Isaac Byers made numerous clutch saves to hold off the attack but Eastbrook managed to break the deadlock in the 16th minute. Eastbrook scored off a cross 10 minutes later then notched their third with 11 minutes to go. Captain Ty Carpenter moved on to the Apache back line and held down the left side of the defense after the third goal, effectively shutting down the Eastbrook attack on that side of the field. The teams entered the half with Wabash down 0-3.

The second half saw the Apaches refocused on their passing game which paid dividends in increased possession and fewer Eastbrook scoring chances. Will Galley set the tone for the passing game and the rest of the team followed suit. Lucas Coffman, Max Carpenter and Galley combined for some of the best passing combos of the night. The one goal of the second half was an own-goal as a Byers clearance caromed off of Derek Reed and bounced back into the apache goal. Wabash is back in action Thursday when they face Blackford at Alumni Field. Kick-off is 6 pm.
