Varsity Volleyball beats Elwood Community 3 – 0

The Varsity was back on their home court tonight against Elwood, coming back from a tough loss last night against Madison Grant.

Despite the loss, the girls did not let that affect them leaving the night with a three set sweep against Elwood.

The Varsity girls came out on fire from the beginning, not allowing Elwood to gain any momentum. It was a well-rounded effort from all players on Oak Hill. What a great game to end the week. The girls will be back in action on Monday, September 18th against Lapel.

Stats:

Braeleigh Evans led the team with 19 digs. Taylor Holloway and Alivia Shaw in second both with 8 digs a piece. Alivia Shaw and Tommi Melton each had 4 aces. Alexa Myers in second with 3 aces. Isabelle Dominisse had 14 kills, 3 solo blocks and 1 ace. A dominate performance by Isabelle.
