Knights XC Runs At West Noble
The Southwood cross country teams ran at West Noble Saturday.
The Lady Knights Cross Country team competed in a highly competitive field of 189 runners at the West Noble Invitational on Saturday. Shelby Thomas finished just out of medal position as she crossed the line in 36th. However, running a strong race throughout and using the hills to overtake opponents , Shelby pulled out another personal best time time of 21:10.62.
Jaiya Corn finished in 121st position in a time of 24:26.52. Olivia Ranck placed 174th in a time of 28:17.5.

Wayne), Leo, Columbia City, Northrop, Blackhawk Christian, Oak Hill, Prairie Heights, Canterbury, West Noble, Bishop Dwenger, South Side, Garrett, DeKalb, Eastside, Lakeland, Snider, North Side, Elkhart Christian, Churubusco, Convoy Crestview, Wabash, Bishop Luers, Central Noble, Argos, Benton, Whitko, Bethany Christian.
The Knights will compete in the New Haven Invitational held at Huntington University this coming Saturday.
The Knights cross country team competed in the West Noble Invite Saturday morning at 8:30. Facing a highly competitive field of runners along with course built on rolling hills, the Knights continued to show gains as endurance athletes.
Once again, James Unger led the Knights, finishing in a time of 18:25.57, placing 85th in the field of 228 runners. Luke Andrews placed 110th and ran a time of 18:53.93. Ryan Deeter placed 211th and finished with a time of 22:51.07. Andrew Wright ran 23:33:3 and placed 216th.
The Knights will compete in the New Haven Invitational next Saturday at Huntington University.
