Girls Varsity Soccer defeats Elwood

The Lady Eagles continue their win streak with a 9-0 victory over Elwood. The win over Elwood, gives the Lady Eagles a 3-0 record in conference, and guarantees at least a share in the CIC title.

Landri Hardman had a hat trick this evening as well as an assist. Kora Pond scored 2 goals and had 2 assists. Evelin Perez, Lexi Nuber, Madelyn Cheek, and Annie Hale each scored a goal. Cail Bowlin had an assist.

The team faces their final CIC opponent, Blackford, on Saturday at home at 7pm.

Varsity Volleyball beats Alexandria 3 – 0

Last night was Senior night for Alivia Shaw, Tommi Melton, Taylor Holloway and Isabelle Dominisse. The seniors ended their home career with a 3 game sweep over Alexandria High School.

It was an all around team effort performance for the lady eagles last night. Stats are listed below.

Stats:

Braeleigh Evans led the team with 19 digs. Alivia Shaw was in close second with 18 digs and Taylor Holloway had 15 digs. Morgan Cates and Isabelle Dominisse both had one block a piece, Morgan Cates adding two blocking assists. Bella Taylor led the team with 8 kills. Amaya Thompson, Claire Templin and Alivia Shaw in close second all with 7 kills a piece. Isabelle Dominisse had 6 kills and Morgan Vates had 5 kills. Lilly Edwards led the team with 2 aces and Alivia Shaw, Braeleigh Evans and Tommi Melton each had 1 ace a piece. Alivia Shaw had 25 assists for the night.

The girls are back in action today with an away game against Marion.
