The Manchester girls soccer team fell to Oak Hill 1-0 Thursday.
Manchester’s defense played tough all game. Addison Brubaker, Molly Schannep, Chase Blevins, Karsyn Kamphues, Maggie Onderko-White, and Aymia Miller held a strong defensive line throughout the game. Brookelynn Buzzard, Samantha Shock, Ava Sautter, and Maggie Onderko-White all had great shots on goal but the Lady Squires couldn’t finish any of their opportunities. The game remained scoreless until Oak Hill found the net on a breakaway with 45 seconds left to go in the game.
The Lady Squires will play in the first round of sectionals next Thursday against Blackford.
