Manchester 8th Routes Peru

The Manchester 8th grade football team defeated Peru 44-14 Tuesday.

The SQUIRES set the tone early and often. The first play from scrimmage Aiden Bahney connect with Jonny Miller for a 50 yard touchdown. And that’s when Bryson Enyeart took over. Enyeart rushed the ball for a season high 131 yards on 10 carries and 3 touchdowns. Bahney threw the ball only 3 times but ended the game with 120 yards and 3 touchdowns. Lincoln Young caught one of those passes for a 10 yard touchdown. Layne Showalter caught the other one for a 60 yard touchdown. Definitely Jonny Miller lead the team with 10 tackles 3 of those were solo’s and an interception. Enyeart came up with 8. Of those 8 tackles 4 were tackles for a loss of yardage. Miller also hit 4/5 extra points on the game.

That wraps up the season for the Squires. The team went 3 and 4 on the season.
