Manchester Volleyball Falls To Defending State Champs

The Manchester Squires volleyball team hosted Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian on Thursday and fell to the defending state champs in three sets 25-12, 25-10, 25-18.

Before the game we honored our six senior players: Paxton Baker, Olivia Davis, McKelvey Espeset, Savannah Evans, Taryn Finch, and Gracie Lauer, and our one senior manager Melani Jimenez-Saucedo.

McKelvey Espeset: 4 kills, 1 dig, 1 assist

Savannah Evans: 8 receptions, 2 assists, 3 dig

Taryn Finch: 4 receptions, 2 digs, 3 kills

Gracie Lauer: 5 kills, 9 receptions, 2 assists, 1 dig

The Squires wrap up their regular season with a tournament at Clinton Prairie HS starting at 9 am on Saturday.

Jv Squires fall to Blackhawk Christian in 2 sets. The scores were 18-25 and 21-25.
