Girls Varsity Basketball beats Peru High School/Junior High 32 – 21

Oak Hill begins its season 1-0 with a victory over Peru.

it was a great team win with hustle and effort pulling out the game for the Gooden Eagles.
Oak Hill’s defense frustrated Peru’s guards all night forcing multiple turnovers.

There were standout performers on the night led by Alivia Shaw’s 5 steals and 5 rebounds chipping in a basket as well.

Landri Hardman was the leading scorer for Oak Hill with 10 points on 4-7 shooting.

Lex Myers was the leading scorer off the bench with 7 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists.

Overall a good first night win for the Lady Eagles.

JV won 32-21. Kora Pond led scorers with 14, Sarah Beth Tripp had 9 and Sela Sherron added 6 herself.

Elementary basketball tomorrow noon-2 at the high school.
