Lady Norse Stumble Against Bluffton

The Northfield Lady Norse fell to Bluffton 70-46 Tuesday.

The Norse fell behind 8-2 early before Camryn Kuhn and Elli Baker hit to make it 8-6. The Norse would get just one more bucket in the quarter and trailed 17-8 after one.

Bluffton would extend their lead to 20-10 early in the second before Eden Hoover hit a bucket and a free throw. Northfield cut the deficit to 20-15 before the Tigers scored 11 straight and led 31-18 at the half.

Bluffton would build their lead to 40-22 early in the third. Baker and Kuhn each hit a three in the quarter but the Norse couldn’t gain ground and trailed 51-34 after three.

The Bluffton lead would grow to 58-34 early in the fourth as they went on to defeat Northfield 70-46.

Bluffton would win the junior varsity contest 39-37.
